This zinc plated UFP Brake Actuator is specifically designed for use in the marine environment.  All internal working parts of the C-70 are plated for corrosion resistance.  The master cylinder is aluminum as opposed to cast iron, which corrodes rapidly with marine use.  Most internal parts are compatible with UFP's A-60 series brake actuators making it easy to service.  The C-70 has four, 1/2" mounting bolt holes (2 on either side) on 3" centers that bolt up to standard 3" wide trailer tongues.  The Disc Brake C-70 comes standard with an electric reverse solenoid pre-installed.  The solenoid works off of your tow-vehicles reverse lights.  When your tow vehicle is shifted into reverse the solenoid activates, sends brake fluid back into the reservoir and locks out your brakes.
