This Ford and Chevy adapter allows you to use the Brake-Rite II SD (severe duty) electric ever hydraulic brake actuator with 2006.5 and up model year Ford's and Chevys with integral factory brake controllers.
Factory installed, in-cab brake controllers on 2006-2010 Ford and Chevy trucks/SUVs are wired for use with electric trailer brakes and not electric over hydraulic. This adapter allows the BrakeRite EHB to properly communicate with factory brake controller while also regulating the amperage.
