Great Brackets

If you are replacing your brackets for 2 x 4 bunk boards, these are the ones. They are better because they are 1/8” thicker than typical brackets at an affordable price. The placements of the bunk board mounting holes are perfect. They are moved in slightly compared to standard brackets, so when you mount the bracket on a 2 x 4 you don’t run the risk of splitting the wood as much. But don’t forget to drill pilot holes. I would definitely recommend these brackets. Width of the bracket is 3" typical 2 x 4 is 3 1/2.
