SAFETY CHAINS, CABLES & HOOKS
TRAILER SAFETY CHAINS AND CABLES
Trailer safety chains and cables attach to your tow-vehicle with snap hooks, s-hooks or any other hook with a rated capacity that meets or exceeds the trailers GVWR. In the event that the trailer should separate or detach from the tow vehicle while in tow, safety chains and cables keep the load secure to the tow vehicle. Safety chains or cables are required for any trailer towed behind your vehicle.
Galvanized cables are 36" long each w/heavy duty clevis latch hook, 7000 lbs. (GTW) rating. Self-coiling vinyl coated Hitch Cables use durable aircraft cable construction. Each 36" long cable includes a heavy duty latch hook.
Snap hooks are self closing/self locking connectors. The snap hook provides an eye for
permanent attachment of cables or chains.
Rubber Keepers provide extra protection to keep S-hooks safely attached to tow vehicle.
