TRAILER SAFETY CHAINS AND CABLES
Trailer safety chains and cables attach to your tow-vehicle with snap hooks, s-hooks or any other hook with a rated capacity that meets or exceeds the trailers GVWR. In the event that the trailer should separate or detach from the tow vehicle while in tow, safety chains and cables keep the load secure to the tow vehicle. Safety chains or cables are required for any trailer towed behind your vehicle.
Galvanized cables are vinyl coated and self coiling, used to keep a trailer attached to the vehicle if the hitch fails or comes uncoupled. Hitch cables exceed J684 standards. Includes 1-pair.

This vinyl coated galvanized trailer safety cable is typically used to secure your boat to the trailers winch post. The latch hook fastens to your boats bow eye while in tow. In the event that the trailers winch fails, this secondary safety device will keep boat positioned on the trailer.

This 5/16" clevis hook with a 3/4" opening is commonly used to secure safety chains to tow-vehicle. It has a working Load Limit of 4700lbs. and is yellow zinc plated for corrosion resistance.
3/8" quick link makes connecting chain, cable or rope quick and easy.
Snap hooks are self closing/self locking connectors. The snap hook provides an eye for permanent attachment of cables or chains.
Rubber Keepers provide extra protection to keep S-hooks safely attached to tow vehicle.
